Julie'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. cooking apples, pared, quartered, cored and thinly sliced (8 c.)
1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch or 2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Place apples in bowl and mix sugar and spices. Let stand until juice appears, about 10 minutes. Prepare pie crust and put in 9-inch pie plate. Put apples in plate and top with top crust. Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
