Upside Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 2/3 cup sugar
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 cup milk
    2/3 cup Crisco
    1 egg
    2 egg yolks, save whites
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, 3/4 cup milk and Crisco. Beat 2 minutes on medium.
    Add egg yolks, 1/2 cup milk, and vanilla.
    Beat 2 more minutes.
    Butter and flour a 9x13 pan.
    Pour cherries on bottom of pan.
    Pour cake batter over cherries.
