Brie-Fresh Strawberry French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pt. fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
8 slices French bread
8 oz. Brie cheese
4 eggs
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg (optional)
butter
maple syrup, warmed

Preparation

Slice about 2/3 of the strawberries, reserving nice whole ones for garnish.
Spread 4 slices of bread with Brie cheese.
Top with sliced strawberries.
Cover each with a second slice of bread.
