3 Day Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. pickling salt
    dill
    pickles
    1/4 tsp. alum
    onion slices (if desired)
Preparation
    You will also need 2-quart jars.
    Bring first 3 ingredients to boil.
    Put dill in jars and add pickles, alum and more dill on top of pickles (can add onion slices if desired).
    Pour boiling hot liquid over pickles and seal jars.
    Let set 1 week to 10 days before eating.
