Rum Sauce(Custard-Type) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. milk
6 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. vanilla
rum to taste
Preparation

Heat milk; add eggs, sugar, cornstarch and vanilla.
Cook until thick.
Be careful to cook on low heat so that custard will not curdle.
Add rum.
Serve with cake or bread pudding.
Rum flavoring may be used instead of rum if desired.
Sauce may be processed in blender or food processor for a smoother texture.
