Frozen Vanilla Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/8 c. heavy cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat milk over boiling water; mix eggs, sugar and salt. Slowly put in hot milk.
    Cook over simmering water, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick.
    Remove and cool.
    Fold in cream and vanilla flavoring.
    Pour into cups and freeze until firm.
    Serves 6 or more.
