Country-Style Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 c. diced raw potato
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 can chicken broth
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. chopped chives
Preparation
    Melt margarine over low heat. Add onion, celery and garlic. Saute, uncovered, 3 minutes. Add potato and pepper.
    Saute 2 minutes.
    Stir in chicken broth and milk.
    Simmer, covered, 10 to 15 minutes or until the potato is tender. Beat in chives.
