Mushroom Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. white wine vinegar
    1 crushed clove garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    dash of Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a large bowl and beat with a fork. After thoroughly mixing marinade, place chilled and drained mushrooms in the bowl with marinade.
    Leave overnight in bowl and stir a couple of times so that mushrooms will be thoroughly covered and coated with marinade.
    Place in quart jar next day and pour marinade over.
    Cut stems off mushrooms even with caps.
    Drop caps into boiling water (salted) and 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
    Take out when water begins to boil again.
    Drain and plunge into cold ice water.
    Chill and drain before adding marinade.
