Spiced Peaches Or Pears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can peaches or pears, drained
    1 1/2 c. honey
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
    3 whole cloves
Preparation
    Place fruit in a quart jar that has a lid.
    Heat remaining ingredients to boiling.
    Pour over fruit in jar and cool.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
    Serve with ham, pork or chicken.
