Ingredients

1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 1/3 c. (8 oz. pkg.) snipped dates
3/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Cool Whip
1/4 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Stir ice cream until softened.
Spread on bottom of baked pie shell.
Place in freezer.
