Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
2 c. cored, peeled, chopped apples
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together sugar and butter; beat in egg.
Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Add to egg mixture. Stir in vanilla and apples.
Fill 12 to 14 muffin (2 1/2-inch) tins or cups to the top (if using tins, butter).
Sprinkle with topping.
