Mexican Chocolate Crinkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. soft shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. sugar (for dipping)
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and egg.
    Stir in syrup and chocolate. Stir flour, soda, salt and cinnamon into creamed mixture and stir to make a stiff dough.
    Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
