Pear Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c finely chopped unpeeled pears (firm pears)
    6 1/2 c finely chopped white onions
    3 c sugar
    16 Bell peppers finely chopped
    3/4 c finely chopped hot red and green peppers
    3 c vinegar
    3 tbsp salt
    3 tsp celery seeds
Preparation
    Combine all of the ingredients in a large sauce pan.
    Bring mixture to a boil and reduce the heat.
    Simmer for 45 minutes stirring frequently.
    Ladle into hot sterilized jars and seal yields: 8 to 9.
