Easy Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
1 can whole tomatoes or 1 can tomato sauce
1 can kidney beans and juice
1 to 1 1/2 c. water
1 small onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
American cheese (one 8 oz. bag or 5 to 6 slices)
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt (m/l)
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Can be cooked on top of stove in cast-iron skillet.
Mix all ingredients (except cheese) and bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer (low).
Cover and cook for approximately 30 minutes.
Cover with cheese the last 5 minutes of cooking time or add all ingredients (except cheese) in casserole pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, covering with cheese the last 5 minutes of cooking time.
