Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water or milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. grated Sunkist lemon peel
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch, blended with 1/2 c. cold water
    2 well beaten egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. Sunkist lemon juice
Preparation
    Bring to a boil in saucepan on direct heat the water or milk, sugar, salt and lemon peel; add cornstarch.
    Cook over low heat until thickened, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add egg yolks, butter and lemon juice separately, mixing well each time.
    Pour into an 8-inch baked or crumb crust pie shell.
    Top with meringue; brown.
