Sauerkraut And Sausage Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
    1 Tbsp. sliced green onions with tops
    instant mashed potatoes for 4
    4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In skillet, brown sausage; drain off fat.
    Stir together sauerkraut and green onions.
    Turn into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Spoon sausage over sauerkraut mixture.
    Prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions.
    Stir 2 tablespoons of the cheese into potatoes.
    Spread potatoes over sausage; sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 until heated through, 35 to 40 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
