Caramel Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 lb. plus 1 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    5 eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar and oil until light.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to sugar mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven 60 to 65 minutes until done.
    Cool cake 30 minutes and remove from pan.
    Ice cake.
