Old Fashion Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. large onions, sliced thin
    1/2 c. oleo
    2 Tbsp. flour
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Place onions, oleo, flour and bouillon cubes in crock-pot on high.
    Leave for 1 hour.
    Add 5 cups water; cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
    Stir well during last hour.
    Serve over cubed French bread.
    Put sliced Mozzarella cheese on top, if desired.
    Melt.
