Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. drained figs
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Beat together oil, sugar and eggs.
    Add soda to buttermilk and add flour to batter.
    Add figs and nuts.
    Add cinnamon and cloves;
    add salt.\tCook at 300\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours or until done.
