Lillie Mae Whittaker'S Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 Tbsp. butter (rounded)
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 to 3 eggs
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cream sugar, salt and butter together. Beat in mustard and eggs.
    Add vinegar and water.
    Cook, stirring constantly, to a good rolling boil.
    Pour hot over potatoes or coleslaw.
