Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
    4 c. (1 qt.) strawberries
    3/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 drops red food coloring
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. (level) cornstarch
Preparation
    Crush 1 cup strawberries in small saucepan.
    Add water, sugar, salt, cornstarch and drops of food coloring.
    Bring to a boil slowly, stirring constantly, until thick and clear, about 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and cool slightly.
