Deviled Crab - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. minced onion
1/4 c. minced green pepper
1/4 c. minced celery
2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. fresh or frozen lump crab meat, picked over
3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1/4 c. thinly sliced green onions
3 Tbsp. fine fresh bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
2 Tbsp. chopped bottled, roasted red pepper
cayenne to taste

Preparation

In a heavy skillet, saute onion, green pepper and celery in 1 1/2 tablespoons of the butter until softened.
Stir in crab, mayonnaise, green onions, 2 tablespoons of the bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, minced parsley, roasted red pepper, cayenne and salt to taste.
Divide mixture between 2 large or 4 small scallop shells or ramekins.
Sprinkle remaining bread crumbs over; drizzle with remaining butter,
melted.
Bake mixture on rack of broiler pan in upper third
of preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes. Garnish and serve.
Serves 4.
