Cowboy Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices bacon
1 chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. chili powder
salt and pepper
2 c. diced potatoes
1 can tomatoes
1 can corn
1 can Ranch Style beans
Preparation

Fry bacon in a large kettle until crisp.
Remove and leave grease in pan. Add onion and green pepper.
Cook until translucent. Add ground beef. Cook until meat turns gray.
Add seasonings and potatoes, then add canned vegetables, undrained. Cook until potatoes are soft. Add water as needed. Crumble crisp bacon on top before serving.
