Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1/3 c. finely chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. precooked ham (in small pieces)
6 oz. Swiss cheese, cubed
6 oz. Colby or Cheddar, cubed
4 large eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. whole milk or 2%
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. Worcestershire
1/4 tsp. or less salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
uncooked pie shell
Preparation

Saute onion and green pepper in margarine until tender; in blender on mix speed, beat the eggs, evaporated milk and whole milk together.
Add flour and cheeses and blend a few seconds. Add Worcestershire sauce, onion and green pepper.
Add salt and nutmeg.
Mix in ham pieces and mix well.
Pour mixture into prepared, unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife blade inserted in center comes out clean.
