Ingredients

2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation

Beat egg yolks.
Add milk and shortening.
Add flour, salt and baking powder.
Mix well with mixer.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Fry in nonstick frying pan, turning to brown both sides.
You can also make waffles with this mix.
