Marshmallow Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg white
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. boiling hot water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a mixer bowl, beat sugar, egg white, cream of tartar and hot water.
    Just before peak stage, add vanilla.
    Beat to stiff peak stage.
    Frosts 9 x 13-inch.
