Marie'S Apricot Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. thinly chopped pecans
    2 pkg. dried apricots
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter, cubed
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Set aside 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers.
    Mix vanilla wafers, powdered sugar, eggs and pecans.
    May need to add 3 teaspoons milk to hold together.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    Cool.
    Cook apricots according to package directions; mash.
    Add 1 cup sugar and cubed butter.
    Spread on top of crust.
    Cover with Cool Whip and crumbs.
