Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1 lb. apricots or prunes, cooked and sweetened
Preparation
    Cream Crisco, sugar, milk, vanilla and salt until fluffy.
    Add flour and oats and mix well.
    Set aside 1 cup mixture for topping. Pack remaining in ungreased 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Spread cooked and sweetened apricots or prunes in pan and sprinkle with the cup of reserved topping.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes and enjoy.
