Barbecue Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) chicken
    1 medium onion
    2 Tbsp. fat
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 c. catsup
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped celery (may substitute celery salt)
    pinch of salt
    pinch of red pepper
Preparation
    Cut chicken in serving pieces; brown in hot fat.
    Brown onions in fat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Pour over chicken.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Sauce may be used for other meats also.
    Serves 6.
