Rich Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
5 Tbsp. ice water
1 Tbsp. white or cider vinegar
Preparation

Combine flour and salt in bowl.
Cut in shortening with pastry blender or fork until pieces are size of peas.
Mix egg, water and vinegar in cup and gradually stir in flour mixture until evenly moistened.
Form into ball, handling as little as possible.
Roll out as directed in recipe.
Makes two 10-inch crusts.
