Green Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 thinly sliced green tomatoes
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. grated cracker crumbs
butter (to dot each layer)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Butter casserole dish.
Layer green tomato slices, cheese and crumbs.
Dot with butter.
Continue layers, ending with buttered crumbs.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until tomatoes are tender. Tomatoes may be parboiled first if baking time is to be short.
