Old-Fashioned Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Bring sugar, butter, milk, cocoa and syrup to a boil (slow). Cook 5 minutes.
Add vanilla.
Cool.
Or, add to sheet cake while cake and icing are hot.
