Meggy Leves (Cherry Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh cherries
    4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 to 1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. milk/cream
Preparation
    Bring to boil the cherries, water and spices.
    Add sugar to taste according to the sweetness of the cherries.
    (I start with 1/2 cup of sugar and add an additional 1/2 cup if cherries are unpitted or tart.)
    Boil cherries for 20 minutes or until tender. When done, blend flour and milk; add to cherry mixture while boiling, just long enough to mix.
    Serve cold.
