Sparerib Sauerkraut Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. spareribs (country)
    1 jar sauerkraut, drained or 2 cans (reserve liquid)
    5 or 6 medium potatoes, halved
    5 or 6 carrots, cut in 2-inch pieces
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Layer spareribs, sauerkraut and carrots in large cooker. Season with salt. Measure reserved sauerkraut liquid and add water to make 1 cup. Pour into cooker and bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer for 2 hours. Add potatoes and simmer for 1 hour more.
