Aunt Jan'S Egg Foo Yong And Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    3 small onions, sliced thin
    1 1/2 c. raw pork or chicken, chopped
    1 can bean sprouts
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. bean sprouts
    1 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Melt 6 tablespoons shortening in pan.
    Add onions and cook 3 minutes.
    Add meat and cook until done.
    Remove from heat and add can of sprouts, eggs, 3 tablespoons water and salt.
    Fry like a thin omelet.
    Fry on one side, then turn like a pancake and brown other side.
