Canning String Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

string beans
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Stem, cut and wash beans.
Blanch beans and pack in jars (real full).
Add salt and lemon juice.
Do not add water.
Cook in pressure cooker with 10 pounds pressure for 30 minutes.
When ready to use, a cheese sauce may be added or brown butter in a saucepan and add onion, bologna pieces or bacon.
Then add beans and simmer 5 minutes.
