Christmas Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. dill pickles, drained and cut in 1/2 or 1/4
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Layer pickles and seasoning mix in jar.
    Leave out at room temperature overnight.
    Shake well, then refrigerate.
