Bob Hope'S Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
1 1/4 c. boiling water
3 eggs, separated
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. lemon rind
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in pan.
Gradually add water.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cook 1 minute until mixture is clear and thickened.
Stir small amount into beaten egg yolks.
Return to hot mixture.
Cook for 3 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice, butter and rind.
Pour into shell.
