Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 extra large white sweet onions
    1 stick butter or margarine
    Parmesan cheese
    1 stack crushed Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Peel and slice onions into thin rings.
    Saute slowly in butter until limp.
    Pour 1/2 of the onions into a greased casserole. Cover with Parmesan cheese and cracker crumbs.
    Repeat layers. Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes about 6 to 8 servings.
