Oatmeal Toffee Lizzies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. pourable brown sugar
1 c. butter flavored Crisco
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 c. quick oats
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.)
1 pkg. (6 oz.) almond brickle bits
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine sugars and shortening, add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour, soda and salt, mix well.
Stir in oats, chips and nuts by hand.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes for easier handling. Make 1 1/4-inch balls.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool and store in airtight container.
