Pineapple Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar.
    Beat egg yolks and milk together.
    Add egg mixture to flour and sugar mixture.
    Add butter and pineapple; cook in double boiler until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff; put on top of pie and brown.
