Boerenjongens Cocktail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. raisins
    2 c. water
    1 cinnamon stick
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. brandy or whiskey
Preparation
    Cook raisins, water and cinnamon stick about 20 minutes.
    Add sugar and brandy.
    Cook until dissolved.
    Fill sterilized container with the mixture.
    Seal tightly and let stand 3 months for best results.
