German Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter or oleo
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2/3 c. cherry preserves
2/3 c. pineapple preserves
2/3 c. apricot preserves
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream together butter or oleo and sugar.
Add eggs to mixture and cream again.
Sift together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk and soda added to milk.
Fold in preserves, vanilla and pecans.
