Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 c. walnuts
    small jar chopped cherries and juice
Preparation
    Cut butter into flour and sugar as in pie crust and pat into bottom

    8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Mix
    eggs,
    brown
    sugar,
    coconut,
    walnuts
    and cherries. Pour
    over top of baked crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cut into squares while hot.
    Yields 24 squares.
