Quick Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2 1/2) can yams
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. white or brown sugar
2/3 c. syrup (from can)
Preparation

Place yams in shallow baking dish.
Combine syrup from can, sugar and butter in saucepan, stirring to boil, to thicken.
Pour sauce over yams.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 30 minutes, basting frequently.
Sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon and/or nutmeg.
