Spinach Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 onion
    10 oz. pkg. spinach, chopped
    12 oz. cottage cheese
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
    bacon bits (if desired)
Preparation
    Saute onion in small amount of butter.
    Drain any water off of spinach and add to onion.
    Add cottage cheese and eggs.
    Pour into casserole dish and sprinkle Cheddar cheese and bacon bits on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
