Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pretzels
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 medium Cool Whip
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    8 oz. cream cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix first 2 ingredients and spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 5 minutes.
    Mix Cool Whip, cheese and sugar.
    Spread on crust.
    Drain pineapple.
    Add cornstarch to juice and cook until thick and clear.
    Add pineapple to cooked juice, spread on top of Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate.
