Grandma'S Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice (not Minute rice)
    approximately 1 1/2 qt. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Using a 1 1/2-quart baking dish, put 1/2 cup of raw rice in dish.
    Fill dish 2/3 full of milk.
    Place in 350\u00b0 oven and bake until a brown skin forms on top.
    Remove from oven and remove skin.
    Add a couple cups milk and stir gently.
    Beat eggs until mixed; add sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Add to rice mixture and mix well.
