Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 c. apples
1/2 to 2/3 c. white or brown sugar (depending on tartness of apples)
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Line 9-inch pie plate with pie crust. Peel and core and cut apples into very thin pieces.
Cover pie with a pricked upper crust.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for an additional 45 minutes or until done.
