Ella Davis' Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. rye, bourbon or brandy
    2 Tbsp. dark rum
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat yolks until thick.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar; continue beating until sugar is dissolved.
    Slowly add liquor and milk. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
